Connector
Provide demountable RF or DC signal interface between cable sections and mounted hardware.
What it does
Coaxial RF connector providing a signal interface between cable segments or between a cable and a component port. Acts as a pure interface — no thermal conditioning or signal processing. SMA is standard for most cryogenic coax; K-connector used above 18 GHz.
Where it goes
- Allowed stages
- 300K, 50K, 4K, Still, CP, MXC, 1K
- Typical line types
- xy, readoutIn, readoutOut, flux, dc
- Does not provide thermal or noise conditioning — use attenuators/filters separately.
