Terms of Service
The rules of the road. By using the Quantum Circuit Simulator and Cryostat Studio, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this platform — including the Quantum Circuit Simulator, Cryostat Studio, and all associated content — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Accounts
To access premium features, you must create an account via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Premium features require a paid subscription processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the rate displayed at checkout. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-prorated for partial periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain full access until then. Billing details and invoices remain available through Stripe. Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of an initial subscription purchase by contacting contact@quantumcircuitsimulator.com. After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion. Partial-month refunds are not provided for mid-cycle cancellations.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content on this platform — including quantum simulations, 3D cryostat models, interface designs, lesson text, and source code — is our proprietary intellectual property and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Scientific references, formulas, and citations remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without explicit written permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform. • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the platform. • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the platform's infrastructure. • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform or its content. • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another user.
7. User Content
Any circuits, configurations, or presets you create on the platform remain yours. By saving content to the platform, you grant us a limited license to store and display it as part of the service. We will not use your content for purposes outside of providing the service without your consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The simulations are educational tools and should not be relied upon for production quantum hardware design without independent verification.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may request account deletion from your profile settings. If you still have an active paid subscription, you must first cancel it through the Stripe billing portal, and account deletion becomes available after the paid billing term has fully ended. Upon termination or completed account deletion, your right to use the platform ceases immediately and your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as determined by the applicable governing law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
